For all our dancers in Grade 2 and above, we are having a little watching party which will be a great opportunity for everyone to get together and enjoy it. It'll be on Saturday 21st at 5:30pm. Entrance to and from the hall in the gallery as normal but the showing will be in the projector room near the back door.

Thanks everyone! x

Hi everyone,

Our new term is just around the corner and we can't wait to get back in the studio!

In light of the awful events over the summer in Southport, Isla and I have been discussing how we can enhance security and safeguarding within the studio. Our building services various groups in the community so, whilst we can't lock everyone out completely, we can have more control over our users entering and exiting the building. We can also stop direct access to the classroom space.

Going forward, the main doors to the village hall will remain locked at all times. The only entry and exit point will be via the side door into the waiting room. All of our dancers in Grade 3 and below need to be dropped off and picked up from that point. Isla and I will come to find you when it's time for your lesson. The waiting area will no longer be suitable for getting changed so any dancers needing to get into dancewear will need to use the bathrooms please.

This is also the perfect time to introduce Chloe! You'll probably have seen Chloe around the studio a lot in the last few years taking beautiful photos and helping us with shows and exams. Chloe will be at our front desk from Monday to Thursday evenings ready to answer any questions you have, keeping everyone up-to-date, sorting class payments and looking after our students until they're picked up from the door.

The role is brand new to Chloe so please bear with her while she finds her feet - she'll be in touch with answers to any questions that she can't sort right away for you.

See you all soon!

Natasha, Isla and Chloe x

Join us this Tuesday from 5-5:45pm at Sleights Village Hall for a fun, energetic class for all our current male students and an introduction to dance for any new starters!

Everyone can excel in dance, so long as they love to move, jump and express themselves in a high-energy, challenging discipline.

Ballet offers a unique blend of physical and mental benefits that can positively impact every aspect of young people's lives. From improved posture and coordination to enhanced focus and self-confidence. Plus, it's a fantastic way to stay active, express themselves creatively, and make new friends who share a love of dance.

If you're new to class, there's no special attire needed! Some comfortable clothes like sports shorts and bare feet will be perfect
